Who was Michele?
A man of humble roots with a keen gaze and a playful smile, Michele lived for his craft. His son, master pizzaiolo Antonio Condurro, described him as “an icon of the art of pizza” while another son, Luigi, called him a true “pizza fanatic.”
Michele Condurro became the master pizzaiolo and patriarch of a family devoted to perfecting Neapolitan pizza since 1870.
